It's nice to have them both so close that we can spend part of our day with each family. Easter was a beautiful day. The kids were extra hyper- of course.

Well as many of you know I just don't really take time to read very often. With everything that goes on around here that just doesn't usually rank too high on my free time list... UNTIL NOW. I have had many people bug me to read Twilight and I was really good at just not really caring about the prodding. But lately I have been sitting at wrestling practice, dance practice etc. so I have time to kill and it has been driving me nuts not having something to do. SO, I bought the darn book. Thinking if I read it while I waited it would fill up at least a months worth of practices. UM NO... it made it to one wrestling practice and 2 days later I was finished.



Tuesday night I bought the next book New Moon and by the next practice (last night) I was half done with that one too. As of last night when I finally peeled my hands from the book I was 300+ pages into this book. Its a bit funny that I have taken so much interest in these... enjoyable none the less. SO for those of you who encouraged me to read these I am now grateful for the nudge. BUT IF YOU TELL ME HOW IT ENDS I WILL HAVE TO HURT YOU! Don't you dare.. I am very serious lol.

{Bring on the Sunshine!}

Wow the sun is making me so happy today. I am under no delusions here, it is still cold and I get that but but but but BUT... the sun is out and is casting such a nice mood inside me today. Feels great!

{Silly Car}

I know it's silly but I have to say that I really like the Dodge Charger. Just do. Ever since it first came out. After the movie I went over to the Dodge dealer and took a look at a couple they have on the lot at the moment. This one has been there for a while. I was just in the mood so I stopped again. The boys didn't mind at all. It was raining so the stop what shortlived.


BUT on Tuesday I went in with my friend Nyle and we took that car for a ride. FUN CAR. We um... gave it a good test drive. It passed... it's a great car. Quick, easy to handle, red and and and... For a snappy car though it is really roomy and somewhat practical just not too practical. But still. It was fun.

Black would be my first pick and then red. This red is nice too. Too bad their is no sunroof and the windows aren't black as night or I would have just bought the dumb thing right on the spot... lol.

Anyway. Thanks Nyle it was a great time!

{Family Night Out}

Saturday night we took the kids to the movie. We also invited 2 neighbors to come along for the fun. We went to Monsters vs. Aliens at Edwards. So yeah it was a bit more to get in. But its fun for the kids to go to that huge theatre once in a while. Once I there I was faced with the 3-D decision. What the heck it would be fun. TIL THEY RANG ME UP>>> UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGH WOW. Braydon asked how many bows I had to make for the movie.. I just laughed and said a FEW :) Still it was so much fun. The kids had a great time. Only Marly got tired near the end and started kicking the monsters when they seemed to get to close to her (which was ssssssssso cute and funny). The other kids laughed and had a ball. Popcorn, cute show and silly glasses = happy kids. Truthfully I laughed right out loud myself. It was a fun time!


3-D Fun With a Beefed-Up Bride and a Dumb Blob Named B.O.B.

After the show we took quick picture. This picture cracks me up. Who's kids are these? After wrestling Marly I pulled my hair back during the moving. Pay special attention to the look on Marly's face and you might see what I mean... what a stubborn little girl.



The kids have been quoting the movie ever since. Its fun how they do that now. "You got out Monstered by a girl!" or "Suck - In - B.O.B." I could go on and on with that but I won't, you get the idea.

{Spring Tease}

Everyone who knows me knows that I love winter. I love to play in the snow. I love the smell of the brisk winter air. I love watching our world turn white, makes it feel like Christmas. I LOVE SNOW AND I LOVE WINTER.




Buttttttttttttttttt when winter seems to be over and the air warms, the sun starts to play friends with us and the grass greens... I AM DONE WITH WINTER. Perhaps its my annoyance with the constant mud in my house now that I am the Mom, I don't know. Man spring is such a tease sometimes. I know, I have lived here my whole life, this happens quite often. For some reason this year it is catching me off guard to have winter storm after winter storm followed by sunshine and spring air followed by winter storm.

Always happy for the moisture. Just not loving the spring tease. Brrrr.
